Hotel Durant in Aspen proved to be a charming retreat, with a cozy ambiance and attentive staff. the convenient location, just a short walk from downtown Aspen, allowed easy access to restaurants, shops, and cultural hotspots. Despite minor room challenges, such as limited natural light in the basement room and lack of privacy in the layout of room 301, the overall experience was pleasant. the daily continental breakfast was a delightful touch, perfect for fueling up before a day of outdoor adventures. the hotel's proximity to the free shuttle bus to all four Aspen ski mountains made exploring the area hassle-free. Overall, Hotel Durant offered a comfortable and budget-friendly option in the midst of Aspen's upscale accommodations, making it a hidden gem that we would gladly return to.
